The Sputnik icon on our logo symbolizes our respect for the early years of space exploration. This era brought the world numerous new discoveries and perspectives and inspires us to create new watches.
The company name and the Sputnik icon are placed in a frame inspired by the title block on technical drawings.
PRODUCTION
CHERKAS watches are produced in a well-equipped factory in Tavannes, a town located in the heart of the Jura Mountains, in the famous watchmaking region of Switzerland.
Here, the centuries-old tradition of Swiss watchmaking finds contemporary expression in the form of CHERKAS watches.
DREAMER
Fascinated by science fiction and images of future technologies since childhood and having studied automobile design for several years, Vasily Kuybar, the founder of CHERKAS, has always had a passion for watches.
After many years of a successful career in advertising and video production, Vasily decided to launch his own watch brand to share his vision of watch design and inspire those with similar tastes.
